The following information is provided to help you understand, follow, and participate in the Planning Commission hearing in person or electronically.

Public comment is the opportunity for members of the public to participate in hearings by addressing the Planning Commissioners in connection with one or more agenda or non-agenda items. Provide comments using one of the follow options:

Public Comment in Person - Dependent on the opening of the Government Center.

AT THIS TIME THE HALL OF ADMINISTRATION IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

Due to social distancing measures, there is limited seating in the Board of Supervisors Hearing Room. Please submit either a white speaker card or pink statement card to the clerk. Names of public comment speakers will be called in advance to allow you time to walk to the Board Hearing Room so you may provide your comment.

Please practice social distancing and remain six feet apart from others.

Public comments using Zoom:

Please Click Here for registration to speak during the Planning Commission Hearing. You must register to speak no later than 3:30 p.m. the day prior to the Planning Commission hearing. Please provide your name, email, and the phone number. Once your registration has been approved you will receive an email with the Zoom meeting link and password by 5:00 a.m. the day of the Planning Commission hearing.

If you are watching the live stream of the Planning Commission hearing and would like to make either a general public comment (Item 4) for items not on the day's agenda or to comment on a specific agenda item as it is being heard, please submit your comment, limited to 250 words or less,  to the Recording Secretary at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please be advised that this e-mail address will not be operational until the day of the hearing. Please include in the Subject Line of your email both the Agenda item number (e.g., Item No. 4) and the words “Read at Hearing.” Every effort will be made to read your comment into the record, but some comments may not be read due to time limitations. Comments received after an agenda item will be made part of the record if received prior to the end of the hearing.

Email or Mail Public Comment in Advance of the Meeting

If you wish to make a comment on a specific agenda item, please submit your comment to the Case Planner for that item via email by 3:30 p.m. on the day prior to the hearing.

Please indicate in the Subject Line the Agenda item number (e.g., Item No. 6) on which you are commenting. Your email will be distributed to the Planning Commissioners and placed into the item’s record at the Planning Commission hearing.
